To improve your swimming skills you should set up some goals

SEARCH FOR A LOCAL SWIMMING TEAM
Try to look for a team that you could join to get into the
routine of swimming. Whatever team it may be, the important thing is that you

Joining a team breaks the monotony of solo practice and you socialize with
people and learn a lot from them too.
IN THE ABSENCE OF A TEAM A POOL WILL HELP

swimmer. Just focus your goals and get you swimming gear intact a night before
you plan to swim. You should try to arrange for both indoor and outdoor

PLAN TO TRAIN WEEKLY

at least five times a week. These sessions should be 30-60 minutes long. You
can increase or decrease the time of your workout according to the goals you

To swim comfortably you need good goggles. A pair of
swimming trunks, a wristwatch that should be waterproof and a cap to protect
your hair from blocking your view when you swim. Usually some main gadgets used
to practice advance techniques of swimming, are provided by the pools but
eventually you have to buy them just in case you have to practice on your own.
WRITE DOWN A PROPER WORKOUT PLAN
If you are a part of a team then this job may be done by the
coach of your team, but if you are drilling on your own you can work out a plan
of your own. You can polish your skills more easily if you have a plan that is
in writing. In this way you can write down your mistakes and focus on removing
them when you do your workouts
